Dear Squishy,
This past week I trekked you out to the opening day of Opportunity Village’s Magical Forest. While we went because I knew you would enjoy the holiday magic, we also went to the Magical Forest because all proceeds raised go to help people with disabilities at Opportunity Village.

Thank you to Mayor Goodman's showgirls who took a picture with my son. I know my hubs got a huge kick out of seeing this!
You loved the carousel. You asked to ride the zebra both times we rode, but never got the chance. You did get to ride a dragon and an ostrich. I had to laugh at you when we got off the ride the first time around and you said “Again! Again!” As we waited in a short line, all of the sudden you started crying – full out crying. It took me a moment to understand what you were saying behind the tears… “NO, MY DRAGON!” Silly boy, you thought it was yours!
I quickly explained the dragon had to be shared, and you calmed down, ready for your next turn. I am pretty sure you could have gone on the carousel again and again, but two times had mommy pretty dizzy!
There is something so special about seeing the magic of the season through your own child’s eyes. One day I hope you will know that feeling.
We even got the cutest little video for your Daddy to feel like he was there too!
Xoxxo,
Mama
**Dear Squishy is my version of (a less than) Wordless Wednesday where each week I write a letter to my son.
