CHOO CHOO! Great Ready Las Vegas! Thomas the Train is coming back to the Nevada State Railroad Museum again. My family and I went to this event last year and had a blast! I loved seeing the joy on my son’s face when he got to ride with Thomas! In addition to riding the train, posing with Thomas, and meeting Sir Topham Hatt, my son loved all the extra activities they had planned for the kids!
About The Event:
Thomas the Tank Engine is pulling into the station for a larger than life experience at the Nevada State Railroad Museum, Boulder City for Day Out With Thomas®: The Go Go Thomas Tour 2013. This fun-filled event – the ninth at Gold Coast – offers little engineers and their families the opportunity to take a ride with Thomas the Tank Engine, star of the popular Thomas & Friends® series, meet Sir Topham Hatt®, Controller of the Railway and enjoy a day of Thomas-themed activities including arts & crafts, storytelling and more. The event serves as a fundraiser with proceeds going to improve and add infrastructure of the Nevada State Railroad Museum, and maintain and restore railroad equipment.
WHO: Thomas the Tank Engine
WHAT: A 25-minute (approximate) ride with Thomas the Tank Engine
- Meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway
- A Thomas & Friends Imagination Station; featuring stamps, temporary tattoos, hands-on arts & crafts, train tables, and coloring sheets.
- Storytelling, video viewing, bouncy house and live music.
- Rides on the Steamers and Model Railroad displays
