A former Midwestern girl, Emily is a stay-at-home mom in Las Vegas, Nevada with the Hubs and “Squishy” two year old boy. In true Las Vegas fashion, a little bit of everything can be found on Emily’s blog Family and Life in Las Vegas; from parenting, reviews, toddler talk, fitness, giving back, to life during deployments.
Following current trends has been something Emily has been doing for over 15 years. While attending high school at New Trier Township in Winnetka IL, Emily discovered a love for writing. Combining her passions for following trends and writing, Emily attended the University of Illinois Chicago to study marketing.
After college and starting her family, Emily created Family and Life in Las Vegas as a way to share products and services that improves the quality of her family’s life. Her blog has allowed her a platform to continue to work as a brand advocate and grow her online and social media presence. Since launching Family and Life in Las Vegas, Emily has had the opportunity to work with several amazing companies such as ERGObaby, Samsung, Neutrogena, Disney, and more. Emily is currently a FitFluential ambassador.
Giving back is something Emily is passionate about. Recently she was able to create a campaign to benefit EmbraceGlobal.org. Through a successful charity auction, the campaign was able to raise over $1000 which will be used to purchase 5 much needed infant warmers to different parts of India impacting the lives of over 200 babies.
Emily enjoys being with her family, writing, Bikram Yoga, discovering the family side of Las Vegas, working with charities, and giving back to her local community.
